Sentence Weather turns parts of speech into weather symbols students can see, move, and discuss.
Choose a grade and level. Each round has 10 sentences. Drag a symbol into the slot above each word, or tap a symbol then tap a slot. Check your work: correct symbols get a green outline around the symbol. Wrong tries get a clue, then the answer with why. The help button gives Remind me, Narrow it, and Show me where, like Highlight It! v2.
Level 1: nouns, verbs, articles, and adjectives in short sentences. Level 2: adds adverbs and pronouns. Level 3: all eight symbols, including prepositions and conjunctions, in longer sentences.
