How Students Join TBASE

A one page guide you can print and hand out.

First, the teacher shares three things

  1. The class code shown on the teacher dashboard.
  2. The teacher last name.
  3. A student identifier such as Student 4 or Dolphin. Real student names never go into TBASE.

Then each student joins

  1. Open the TBASE student page on a computer or tablet.
  2. Type the class code, the teacher last name, and your identifier.
  3. Select Join. You are in the class and can start an essay or play the games your teacher turned on.

Keep it private. Your identifier is yours. Do not type your real first and last name.

One identifier per student. If two students use the same identifier in a class, work can mix.

What teachers see

Teachers sign in with an email and password. Your school gives them one access code that turns on TBASE essay scoring and student games for the whole campus. Students never use that district code. Students only use the class code, the teacher last name, and their identifier.

If joining does not work
